Daniel Benson formerly known as Buju has officially switched his professional/stage name to “BNXN” (pronounced simply as Benson).
It’s no longer Buju. Call me ‘Benson’ written as BNXN, the announcement reads.
The music genius made an official announcement about the change of his name. The official announcement came with a video from the artist himself.
This alteration will take effect immediately from the 18th of February 2022.
“Other than the formal change of his professional/stage name, all other details, structures, as well as previous or current contracts and other agreements remain intact and unaltered”.
He explained the name change became necessary after he was mistaken for another Jamaican singer known as Buju Banton.
